Santa Clause came to town Friday night

Santa Claus came to town Friday night during Castlegar’s Winterfest celebrations.

Downtown Castlegar was glowing and sparkling with lights everywhere, a parade of festive floats and a towering Christmas tree sending out holiday cheer.

Nina Amelio kept the crowd entertained with Christmas favourites while parents and children waited in a long line to visit with Santa.
