Preparations are well underway for the fifth year of Castlegar Sculpturewalk.

This year’s sculpturewalk kicks off on Saturday, May 10, and will feature 32 artists from across North America and one from Belgium.

This year’s line-up is set to stun, and a few sponsorship positions are still available.

“It’s amazing how well Sculpturewalk has done in such a short period of time,” says Sculpturewalk President Kirk Duff. “Our program has received national attention – people from across the country are now looking to Castlegar as an innovator in arts & culture.”

Sculpturewalk’s success is due in no small part to the support from local individuals and businesses who are passionate about the program. Each sculpture is available for sponsorship at a cost of $1,000. Sponsors are featured on the sculpture’s nameplate, on the brochure and website, and at all Sculpturewalk events, including the upcoming Opening Gala, to be held on the evening of May 10 at the Kootenay Gallery.

Sculpturewalk is a registered charity, and sponsors are entitled to a charitable receipt for their support.
