School Distrct 20 will hold a public meeting in Castlegar on its “Planning for the Future” process on Tuesday next week.
The “Community Focus Group” is set to take place on March 1 in the gym at Stanley Humphries Secondary School beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will be randomly broken up into small groups for table discussions.
A note-taker will be assigned to each table who will be responsible for submitting a report on the discussion to the district.
Similar meetings are also set for Rossland and Trail. The school district plans to compile the feedback it receives and post the information online. Trustees also plan to use the information to guide their decisions on school facilities.
