Strong turnout for Castlegar bike safety event

Bike safety rodeo draws two-wheel crowd to Castlegar Complex

In just its second staging, the Bike Safety Rodeo organized by the Castlegar District Recreation Department and the local RCMP on Saturday, April 20 almost doubled the turnout of year one. Thirty young cyclists had taken part last year… 50 this time around, according to CDRD Recreation/Cultural Programmer Audrey Polovnikoff.

The children were having a good time, carefully taking in all the information being presented to them.
