Approximately 50 children from the Blueberry Creek Summer Reading Club, Blueberry Patch Summer Day Camp Program and the Blueberry Buds Daycare were visited by the Peak Physique "Heroes for Health" Superheroes on Wednesday, July 10.
The "Heroes" lead the children in stretches and activities, an obstacle course and a discussion about healthy eating and choices.
The initiative, by Peak Physique owner Spencer Voykin, was very well received by the children and meets the healthy lifestyle mandate of the Blueberry Creek Community School Hub.
The "Heroes" will be visiting the classes of the Play to Learn Preschool at B.C.C.S. Hub in the fall.
