Castlegar’s own Twin Rivers Community Choir is excited to announce their 2022 Christmas Concert event entitled Songs of The Season.

The concerts will bring the holiday season alive for audiences through songs old and new. With a wide variety of songs and ensembles, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

“This is the choir’s first set of shows at the Castle Theatre since our Christmas 2019 presentation, and we’re overjoyed to be back!” says artistic director Christina Allen.

Audiences at the evening shows at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 can expect to hear (and participate in) a fun, seasonal presentation from the choir and several talented small ensembles. A wine bar will be available – make it a date night!

Those who attend the matinee performance at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 will be treated to a collaborative performance between the Twin Rivers Community Choir and the Castlegar Community Children’s Choir. This special presentation is one time only and will feature both choirs singing festive music for all ages.

The shows take place at the Castle Theatre at 185 Columbia Ave. in Castlegar. Be sure to sample the theatre’s amazing concession while you’re there.

The choir asks attendees to consider bringing along a small donation for the Community Harvest Food Bank.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for children 12 and under — available until Dec. 8 at Castlegar Realty and Mountain High Lighting.
