Ever hear that those little tabs on pop cans might be worth something? Jack Fisher has, and he makes the most of their value for charity. Through a vast collection network in the region, including the support of organizations like the Order of the Eastern Star, the Crescent Valley resident has been amassing the tabs by the tens of thousands and selling them to aluminum buyers. “That money is used for new wheelchairs, fixing old chairs, and so on — all in the area,” Fisher said.
