Celebrating 20 years at Talarico Place

Mayor Chernoff gives a speech during Talarico Place’s 20th anniversary celebration on Tuesday. Named Mountain View Lodge when first opened in 1991, the facility’s name was changed in 1999 in memory of Ken Talarico, who worked as a hospital administrator for many years. Chernoff said Talarico Place is important to the community: “It’s extremely homey here,” he said. “When you move from your home to this home it’s not a big transition. It’s a nice transition.
