Local creation holds potential for users and designer/builder

A packed house at the Brilliant Community Centre heard a stirring lecture from Izzeldin Abuelaish. The lecture was part of the Mir Centre for Peace lecture series and took place on Sept. 21 - the International Day of Peace.

The Castlegar Rebels hockey team were busy Saturday at The Brick in Castlegar with a barbecue and test drive fundraiser. In conjunction with A.M. Ford, the team received $20 for every person that showed up and took a car for a test drive.
