Statement: Art in the Mind’s Eye is my way of saying my creative ideas emerge more from my mind’s eye than from my intellect. I’m very grateful to express inspiration and ideas as visual art; I feel alive, absorbed, completely involved and energized when doing so. Not only that, it’s lots of fun! I want the art I create to tell a story, be inspirational, invite curiosity and bring beauty in design and colour to our world. I’m from Toronto and have a Masters in Theology, as well as degrees in Music and Education. I have been intimately connected with Yasodhara Ashram on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake since 1987 and create art weekly with Mirja Vahala and other artists at Inspiring Minds studio in Robson.
