Popular cover band Ettinger will be rocking the stage at Element Club Bar & Grill for the official Sunfest party on June 2.
The band is one of Canada's hottest cover bands and is no stranger to Castlegar.
"I think it'll be our fifth or sixth year at Sunfest," said lead singer Peter Ettinger. "It's just a great party every year. There's so many great people out there. Now we know an awful lot of these people by names because we've played there so many times. It's a great feeling. You walk on stage and people are ready to go."
The band covers a wide array of musical styles from country to pop to hip-hop to dance to swing.
"There's going to be something in the show that anybody would like," he said. "We're a full time cover band. There's not many cover bands that are left that can make a living at it. We travel quite a bit. We really enjoy it a lot."
Doors open for the show at 10 p.m. and the club is open until 3:30 a.m. Tickets are available at Element Club Bar & Grill. Partial proceeds from the door will go to benefit Castlegar Sunfest and local ball leagues.
