The Castlegar Arts Council (CAC) has launched a survey to gauge the interest in and availability of affordable studio spaces for artists.

The survey is being conducted by a local artist and art supporter in conjunction with the CAC.

Having a space to create work is critical for artists, says the CAC.

Depending on the survey results CAC may pursue finding a location with multiple studio spaces for artists and makers.

The survey is open for both artists and supporters of the arts with potential studio space. It explores the price range artists can afford, the studio sizes they need and what type of amenities would be required

You can find the survey on the Castlegar Arts Council website under the artist opportunities tab.
