Slocan Lake RCMP are searching for Thierry Brenon, who has been missing since before Christmas.

Slocan Lake RCMP is asking for public assistance in its search for a man who has been missing since before Christmas.

Thierry Emile Brenon, 71, was last seen in Slocan in December, according to a Feb. 4 police statement.

“Slocan Lake RCMP are very concerned for Thierry’s health and well-being and are encouraging the public to call police if they know his current whereabouts or have seen him," said Corp. Brett Urano in a statement.

Brenon is described as five-foot-seven, approximately 130 pounds with a slim build, salt and pepper hair and a French accent.

"It is out of character for Brenon to be gone for so long," added Urano, who said Brenon doesn't have a vehicle and frequently used BC Transit.

Anyone with information is asked to call Slocan Lake RCMP at 250-358-2222.
