A 25-year-old Blewett resident died in a single vehicle accident west of Nelson on Jan. 19 at about 9 a.m.
The Nelson RCMP reports that the vehicle left the highway and went over a rock embankment on Highway 3A.
The operator of the vehicle was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. An investigation is ongoing, but police report that the collision may have been caused by a medical event.
The Nelson RCMP requests that any witnesses to the collision call 250-352-2156.
