A driver died in a vehicle accident near Queens Bay on May 5 at about 12:30 am.
The single-vehicle collision occurred in the the 1400 block of Highway 31, according to a news release from the RCMP.
A passenger in the vehicle was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
“RCMP would like to offer their condolences to the families that were affected in this tragic incident,” the news release states, “and thank the witnesses for their assistance at the scene.”
The collision is still being investigated.
