A 34-year-old Castlegar-area woman is back in custody just three months into her two-year Conditional Sentence Order after a drug bust in Robson on Wednesday.

Police could be seen around Scottie’s Marina on Oct. 25 as Castlegar RCMP officers executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 5200 block of Broadwater Road.

The warrant was obtained as part of a drug trafficking investigation, according to an Oct. 26 RCMP statement.

Investigators seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, currency, and other items consistent with the trafficking of illicit drugs.

Two youth, a 60-year-old man from Robson, and the 34-year-old woman were taken into custody at the residence.

The youth were released to a responsible adult. The male was later released on bail conditions to appear in Castlegar Court Feb. 7, 2024.

The woman has been held in custody to appear before the court.
