Application process opens for Castlegar Habitat for Humanity project

Four townhouse units will be available for occupancy in early 2023

Habitat for Humanity Southeast British Columbia is currently accepting applications from potential partner families for their four-unit townhouse build in Castlegar.

This project features two units with two bedrooms and one bathroom and two units with three bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the two-bedroom units will be accessible for a family with mobility challenges. These builds will be ready for occupancy in early 2023.

Families can apply for one of the four units available. The two-bedroom units are sized between 940-1000 square feet. The three-bedroom units are both 1400 square feet plus an unfinished basement. Each unit will have direct outside access. The units will be energy efficient in compliance with the BC Step Code 3. There will be seven parking spaces and a bike storage space. An outside common area is also included.
