Broadwater Road in Robson is closed to all traffic at the 4000 block and there is no estimated time of reopening at this point.

Massive runoff and debris from two days of rain is flowing over the roadway creating a hazard.

Traffic can access points further up Broadwater Road by crossing over the Hugh Keenleyside Dam, but access is limited to residents and essential services only.

The Glade Ferry is reporting delays due to debris in the river.

The RDCK has also issued a local state of emergency for flooding and evacuation alerts for properties near streams and rivers.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
