The 2022 municipal election voting day is happening this Saturday, Oct. 15.
There are two candidates running for mayor: Lawrence Chernoff and Maria McFaddin.
There are seven candidates running for six seats: Darcy Bell, Brian Bogle, Sandy Bojechko, Shirley Falstead, Sue Heaton-Sherstibitoff, Cherryl MacLeod and Florio Vassilakakis.
In the Regional District of Central Kootenay, Area J, there are two candidates: Henny Hanegraaf and Kim Tassone.
