COVID outbreak at Castleview Care Centre declared over

Two deaths are associated with the outbreak

The COVID-19 outbreak at the Castleview Care Centre has been declared over by Interior Health.

The outbreak lasted almost a month and included more than 40 resident cases and at least five staff cases. There were two deaths connected to the outbreak.

A COVID-19 outbreak at Poplar Ridge Pavilion in Trail has also been declared over. There were 33 resident and six staff cases as well as two deaths associated with the outbreak.
