Marwest and the City of Castlegar are warning drivers to expect delays this week in the Columbia Avenue construction zone.
Additional trades are on-site causing more delays on the Columbia Avenue Complete Streets Project.
Concrete is being poured, sidewalks and gutters are being installed and tree cells are being prepared
“While this means the project is on time, it also means a slower commute on Columbia Avenue,” said Marwest.
“Additional workers and equipment will mean that Columbia Avenue will have added congestion and you are urged to use caution, have patience, and obey traffic control personnel when travelling this route.”
