The Castlegar RCMP would like to take this opportunity to commend 2012 graduates for making last weekend a safe and memorable event.Police did not respond to any serious matters relating to grad itself. Although they were kept busy during the evening of Sunday, May 27 monitoring traffic coming and going from a graduation bush party at Haul Road in Robson, the event was without incident.
Parents and family members did their part in ensuring their children were transported to and from the party safely. Parents commented on how pleased and thankful they were to see police presence at Haul Road. This roadblock contributed to maintaining safe roads in our community as well as assisted in keeping our graduates safe.
