Local residents will have the opportunity to dispose of hazardous household waste on Saturday.
The Regional District of Central Kootenay will be hosting their annual round up between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. September 7 at the Castlegar Community Complex.
Accepted materials include acids, adhesives, aerosols, anti-freeze, cleaning products, electrical outdoor power equipment, fertilizers, fuel, lighting products, mercury, oil, paint and pesticides.
Do not bring ammunition, bio-hazards, explosives, flares or radioactive materials.
