Alison Jollimore has sent in this photo she says was taken recently in the West Kootenay.
"We (as well as a number of other passers-by) spotted this Grizzly Bear resting at the side of the highway across from the pull-out where you can view Nancy Greene Lake," she writes.
"We watched him (her) for about five minutes - it was not at all disturbed by our presence. It may be a good idea to give your readers a "heads up" if they are heading into areas where the bears are.
