Castlegar RCMP report that no serious injuries were incurred in a single vehicle crash, approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 22 at Fairview, south of Castlegar.
According to police, a lone occupant of a southbound Mercury Grand Marquis had left the roadway in an attempt to dodge a vehicle which had just made a left turn, northbound on Highway 22.
The Mercury ended up on its roof in the ditch on the east side of the highway.
The driver was treated and released from hospital following the incident.
