Speakers such as Castlegar mayor Lawrence Chernoff and South Interior MP Alex Antamenenko and entertainers like the Fominoff sisters, Tanya and Netta addressed the crowd for the Hiroshima Day commemoration event on Monday.
The event was put on by the Kootenay Regional Branch of the United Nations Association of Canada and the USCC Working Group.
