On January 19, shortly after 11 p.m. the Castlegar RCMP, Tarry's and Ooteschenia fire departments responded to a residential fire in the 1300 block of Lookout Road. Upon arrival the trailer residence was fully engulfed in flames and subsequently burned to the ground.
There were no occupants at the time.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, however, foul play was not suspected.
The Tarry's Fire Department and police are continuing the invesetigation.
