Monster Mash presents monstrous fun

Castlegar Hospice Society fundraiser fun and fruitful at Friday night party

Monster Mash masqueraders rated 1

Fun was had and funds were raised – both in decent quantities during Friday night’s Monster Mash at the Castlegar Community Complex. The event was staged as a fundraiser by the Castlegar Hospice Society.

The evening showed off the creative energy of a wide range of local dresser-uppers, including the three who, in the opinions of Judges Chris McIntyre of Mountain FM and Jim Sinclair of the Castlegar News, rated recognition as the top three.

The winners were: “Humpty-Dumpty” Jake Zondervan; “Mr. Roboto” Ryan Benedict; and “Her Royal Highness” Heather Anderson.
