Total loss of vehicle following an Aug.29 fire on Broadwater Road

Castlegar Fire Chief Gerry Rempel was returning from a trip to Deer Park along Lower Arrow Lake Thursday evening when he happened upon a fire in progress. It was a small to medium sized motorhome, fully engulfed on a property in the 4100 block of Broadwater Road in the Robson area.

Rempel said he had quickly alerted the Robson Fire Dept. who soon arrived with several trucks.

Information from the Robson Fire Dept. following mop up operations indicated there were no injuries, the damage was limited to the one vehicle, and the cause of the fire was undetermined.
