Pass Creek Road east of Piljik Road was still closed to traffic lated Sunday afternoon as a result of rampaging local waterways, swollen by prolonged heavy rainfall over the past couple of days.
The situation was one of several (including a fatality in nearby Goose Creek) in the West Kootenay attributed to the general high water of late, exacerbated by torrential rain.
