About 200 people gathered at Pass Creek Park on June 21 to celebrate National Aboriginal Day.

The event was organized by the Circle of Indigenous Nations Society. It featured cultural activities, crafts, drumming, dancing, smudging, vendors, story telling, tacos on bannock and lots of happy faces.

The children were especially enthralled with story time in the tipi where elders shared engaging tales.
