Police looking for elderly man

The family of William Mooney feels he may be somewhere in the BC Interior.

The Chilliwack RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly Chilliwack man.  William Mooney

(Bill) was last seen on May 1, 2014 at a credit union on Cheam Avenue in Chilliwack.  Police and family members are concerned for Mr. Mooney’s physical and mental health and are asking the public for their assistance in locating him.

William Mooney is an 89 year-old Caucasian male who is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs 165 pounds.  He is balding on top and has white hair on the sides.  Mr. Mooney was last seen wearing a short sleeve checkered shirt and faded grey work pants.

Mr. Mooney left his residence on Young Road in his red 2009 Mazda pickup truck with chrome running boards. The licence plate on his truck is British Columbia 5064LV.  Family members believe Mr. Mooney could be in the Interior region of BC.
