The Castlegar RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating 59-year-old Leo Patrick Remy.
Remy was last seen leaving a local hotel on Saturday, Apr. 1. Remy’s car, which is a 1996 grey Honda Accord, was located parked at the west end of the Kinnaird Bridge on Monday, Apr. 3. It was first noticed there on Saturday by a passerby.
Remy is described as a black male, 5'8", 170 lbs and it's unknown what he was last wearing.
Remy looks a bit older than he does in the photo supplied by RCMP and has shorter hair.
Police and family are concerned for his wellbeing.
If anyone remembers seeing Remy in the area of the Kinnaird Bridge or has information regarding his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Castlegar RCMP at 250-365-7721
