RCMP looking for witnesses in $5000 auto part theft

Castlegar RCMP are looking for witnesses in the theft of auto parts valued at $5000.

Two catalytic converters were removed from parked commercial vehicles on the evening of Oct. 22.

Sgt. Monty Taylor says the suspect entered a property located in the 4700 block of 14th Avenue and removed the catalytic converters from two separate commercial cube vans.

Castlegar RCMP are continuing to investigate the thefts and anyone who saw something suspicious in this area to contact the local detachment at (250)365-7721.
