Traffic was snarled for nearly half an hour on Columbia Avenue Tuesday morning while emergency crews tended to a car crash.
Const. Tyler Mills of the Castlegar RCMP said a vehicle stopped in the line of traffic outside the Flamingo Motel was rear-ended by a black SUV.
"It was a simple rear-ender," he said, citing driver inattention as the cause.
The passengers of the SUV were sent to hospital as a precautionary measure, but Mills said the injuries didn't appear serious.
