A full day of snow flurries Friday created dicey conditions on Castlegar roads and area highways.
Depending on the area and elevation, as many as 10 cm of snow fell throughout the day. Trucks had issues negotiating ramps in the city, and driving was slow.
According to reports, a vehicle went through a railing on Green Avenue in Trail and rolled onto its side. All passengers made it out of the vehicle safely.
Temperatures will rise to around freezing Saturday, and should hit 3 C Sunday afternoon, according to Environment Canada. A mix of snow and rain should create hazardous driving conditions.
The outlook for the week is more snow, and temperatures around -4 C to 0 C.
