The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation would like to thank Tim Hortons for running the Smile Cookie campaign again this year. Proceeds from the sale of the cookies are donated to the Hospital Foundation. This is a great program that helps raise money and awareness for the Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation. Talking with the Tim Hortons staff I learned that people have been inquiring about the Smile Cookie campaign leading up to the launch day. It’s great to see the community’s willingness to participate and help raise money for medical equipment and services for Castlegar.

The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation would like to thank all of the business owners and residents that have supported our fund raising efforts. Our latest efforts have been a success and, with partners like Tim Hortons, we expect to meet our target to purchase three new Space Lab Cardiac monitors, a Monitor/Defibrillator, and a CAD Prism pump for Castlegar. I’d also like to thank all of the volunteers for continuing to step up when it matters most.

The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers for the purpose of raising funds to assist in covering costs for equipment and services which continue to enhance wellness, patient care and residential care at Talarico Place and at the Castlegar & District Community Health Centre. Please visit our new web site for the latest news and the option to make a donation online at www.castlegarhospitalfoundation.org.
