Strong turnout for pipeline rally outside Katrine Conroy’s office

Organizers estimated about 100 people attended the rally opposing the proposed Enbridge Pipeline project on Wednesday afternoon.

Organizers estimated about 100 people attended the rally opposing the proposed Enbridge Pipeline project on Wednesday afternoon.

“the rally was part of a provincial-wide effort to send a clear message to our elected officials about the wide-spread opposition to expansion of the tar sands, pipelines through BC, tankers on our coast and secret deals trade deals with the Chinese,” said rally host Tammy McLean.
