Surrey Fleetwood MLA Jagrup Brar toured through Castlegar today, meeting with residents and discussing several key topics.
Brar, who serves as Opposition Critic for Small Business, became well known for taking the poverty challenge, where he spent 31 days on welfare and lost 26 pounds.
Brar met with local residents and discussed several key topics such as Shop Local, apprenticeships, and tax rates.
The meeting, which took place Tuesday morning at the Fireside Inn, was sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
