Slocan Lake RCMP say a 16-year-old Winlaw boy has turned up safe.

They say Quinlan Kruse got off a transit bus in Castlegar Friday morning but they issued a request for the public to help find him after he hadn’t been heard from by Saturday afternoon.

Police said there were concerns for his well being, but Sunday afternoon said he “has been located and is well.”
