Tim Horton’s Restaurants across Canada are holding Camp Day today and the Castlegar location is no exception. All proceeds from coffee sales at the restaurant will go towards sending children to camps this summer. Representatives from the RCMP and fire departments are on hand to help serve and collect donations. So if you would like a hot drink to warm you up on this cold, rainy day head to down.

“Camp Day is a special day to raise money to send kids to Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation Camps,” said Castlegar manager Adam Gray. “We’ve been taking donations all week. We’re all sold out of the rent-a-tents. It’s a really good cause. Every year it helps us send a couple of kids from the community to camp.”
