The City has received an application from the owner of 4605 Columbia Avenue to amend the zoning designation from Rural Zone (RR-1) to Industrial Park Zone (M-1B). Select uses from the M-1B zone would be permitted on the property, with Cannabis Production Facilities also permitted on the property’s northern 12 acres (4.86 ha).
A copy of the proposed Bylaw may be inspected at City Hall, 460 Columbia Avenue, Castlegar, B.C. on regular business days (Monday to Friday) from Thursday, July 6th 2023 to Monday, July 17th 2023, inclusive. more at castlegar.ca/development
