Anne Popoff
March 9, 1933 - June 7, 2010
It is with our deepest sadness, that the family of Anne Popoff, wish to announce her passing, at the age of 77 years. After a courageous battle with
cancer she passed away June 7, 2010 at Kootenay Lake District Hospital with her family by her side.
Mom is survived by her daughter Janice,( Mike) Chouinard and son Michael(LaVerne) Popoff Brothers – Pete, (Nora) Rilkoff and Nick, (Mildred) Rilkoff. Sisters-in-Law, Stella Rilkoff and Vera
Osachoff. Three great grandchildren, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 10, 2010 at the
Shoreacres Community Hall withinternment
at the Shoreacres cemetery, under the direction of Castlegar Funeral Chapel
The family of Anne Popoff would like to thank Dr. Malpass and the nursing staff of KLDH for the kindness and care given to mom during her stay there. We would also like to thank the following people and groups that helped us through
this difficult time: Castlegar Funeral Chapel, the ladies cooking group, singers, grave diggers, family
and friends. Thank you Leonard Voykin for officiating the service.
