September 30, 1929 - February 28, 2023
Annette Kurnoff, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on February 28, 2023, at Castleview Care Centre in Castlegar, B.C.
She is survived by her daughters, Violet (Rob) Taylor, Lisa (Jerry) Antignani, Carol (Ken) Sterling, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike in 2013.
Annette humbly devoted her life to her family and the well-being and caregiving of loved ones. She was a shy, sensitive, compassionate woman of few words possessing great strength and integrity.
She enjoyed the simple things in life, gardening, family gatherings, leisurely walks, shopping, a cup of tea and sweets. You could rely on Mom (Baba) to lend a helping hand, offer a shoulder to cry on and listen without judging. She will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Castleview Care Centre & Dr. Charman for their care and compassion.
A family interment service was held at Kinnaird Park Cemetery. Funeral service to be held at a later date.
