Barbara Helen Lynn Hoover, known affectionately as Barb, departed this world on October 3, 2023, in Castlegar, surrounded by her cherished family. Her presence brought a unique warmth and love that will forever resonate in our hearts.
For 58 years, Barb and her beloved husband Gordon wrote a love story that inspired all who witnessed it. From their early days in Nelson to their final years in Castlegar, their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the enduring power of love.
A dedicated mother to Ed (Sheree) and Lori (Gord), Barb's devotion knew no bounds. Her eyes would light up in the company of her grandchildren, LeeAnn (William), Jesse (Tadeja), Christine, Chelsey (Gary), and Kyle, as well as her great-grandchildren, Henry, Ian, Tucker, Arden, and Lennie. Every moment with her family was a cherished memory.
