Teamster Bill worked on various construction projects throughout the province, usually in supervisory capacity, including the Hi Arrow, Revelstoke, Mica Creek and Duncan dams and the Kootenay Canal.
Bill was also an avid camper as he and his wife, Mary, along with all their friends from the Good Sam club, would travel to various areas of the province and south of the border.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Mary, of 58 years in 2017 and is survived by his children Lorne (Lynn), Debby, and George (Lydia) and his sisters Olga (George), Larissa, and Vera and his many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Thank you to Dr. Vasil and the nursing staff at Talarico Place for their compassionate care of Bill and to Bill Strilaeff and staff at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel for their assistance.
