January 4, 1955 - January 7, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cameron Roy McIntosh after a brief illness, he was 66. He leaves behind his wife Charlene of 42 yrs., daughters Christina, Stephanie (James), 5 grandchildren, mother and father-in-law Jackie and Bernard (Bugs) Stanley, 2 nieces, brother-in-law Glen Stanley, sister-in-law Patty Stanley.
Cam was predeceased by his parents Roy and Helen and two brothers'-in-law Richard & Gary Stanley & sister-in-law Sharel.
The family resided in Castlegar for 30+ years where he worked for the RDCK at the Castlegar & District Recreation Centre for 20 of those years, until retiring in Feb 2020.
Cam was an avid sports fan having played slow pitch, gentleman's hockey and golf for years. Cam and Char opened their home to the local KIJHL Castlegar Rebels to become billet parents for the young men on the team in 2012 until moving to Penticton, BC in April 2020....some of whom they are still in contact with today.
His quirky smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A celebration of life may be held at a later date pending covid restrictions.
