Castlegar, BCCarol was born in Grand Forks BC and lived in many BC communities growing up including, Kimberley and Rossland. After graduating from High School in Rossland, she attended College in Spokane. Following College she worked for Cominco in the purchasing department until she married and moved to Castlegar and finally Robson. She re-entered her working career with CIBC in Castlegar and retired from Kootenay Savings Credit Union. She enjoyed listening to music especially Elvis, reading, watching movies, playing soduko, solving crossword puzzles, gardening, caring for her cat and dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Vern Gregory (Alda), Nadene Lamarche (Gerard), Kelli O'Neail (Martin Wong), Eileen Paul (Chris). Brothers, Gerald (Susan) Thompson and Tom Thompson. Grandchildren, Bud, Christina, Kristi, Bradley, Jennifer, and Jonathan. Great Grandchildren, Raine, Landon, and Kydan. Her many dear friends and extended family.
Carol was predeceased by her husband Charlie Gregory, and parents George and Laura Thompson.
A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held at the United Church, 809 Merry Creek Rd, Castlegar BC, on Monday December 20, 2010 at 11:00am.
