September 21, 1970 - January 21, 2021
Chad was born on September 21, 1970 in Castlegar, BC as the first child of Norma and Ken Carr. It is with great sadness, his family announces his sudden passing in a single car motor vehicle accident on January 21, 2021.
Chad is survived by his son, Josh Carr and his daughter Alyssa Carr (spouse, Sebastian Jacklin), grandchildren, Skylynn and Boden. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather (Norma & Denis Mildenberger), father and stepmother (Ken & Lois Carr) and sister Tracy (spouse, Gerry Benoit), nephew, Griffin.
Chad was a certified red seal electrician for 20 years and level C welder for 15 years and was passionate about and excelled at his work. He loved both of these trades and spent many of these years also as an active representative supporting others in the IBEW. Chad was known to always support others in need.
Chad's favourite past times included fishing, camping and golfing with both his family and his friends. He was a devoted father to his family. He loved playing games and playing in the yard with his children as they were growing up in Thrums.
We, his family and friends, will greatly miss Chad. He was our son, our brother, our father, our uncle, our grandfather and our friend. We are proud to have known him and loved him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
