Passed away suddenly on August 31, 2010 at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Jean; daughters Sharon Skillings (Jim) of Edmonton, Sharon Brady (Rodger) of Victoria; son Charlie Lind (Heather) of Castlegar; four grandchildren: Lindsay and Alec of Edmonton, Hannah and Claire of Victoria; brother George Lind (Kathy) of Airdrie and sister Inez Walker (Otto) of Castlegar. He is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews who were significant in his life. Gib was an amazing husband, father, uncle, friend and colleague. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, traveler and one who was always up for an adventure or a party. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00 pm at the Sun Village Clubhouse, 2330 Butt Road, Westbank, BC with Reverend Joe Price officiating.
